Examination Policy

1. Assessment Frequency: Regular assessments will be conducted throughout the academic year, including Unit Tests, Mid-Term Exams, and Final Exams.
2. Grading System: Evaluation is based on both scholastic and co-scholastic areas, following a percentage and grade-based report as per CBSE/ICSE guidelines.
3. Continuous Evaluation: Classwork, homework, projects, and class participation are part of the overall assessment.
4. Attendance Policy: A minimum of 75% attendance is required to be eligible for appearing in final examinations.
5. Academic Integrity: Strict action will be taken against any form of unfair means during examinations. This includes disqualification and notifying parents.
6. Special Provisions: Students with medical conditions must submit valid medical certificates in case of absence during any assessment.
7. Result Communication: Results will be shared with parents during Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and also accessible through the parent portal.
8. Re-Examination Policy: Re-examinations are discouraged. In special cases, they may be granted only with Principal’s approval.
9. Promotion Criteria: Promotion to the next grade will be based on cumulative performance across all assessments and projects.
